Welcome to DadaGuruDev.com
Shri Sidhachak Tirth
The holiest shrine in the
history
of Jainism is where the saint’s breath can be felt in the atmosphere. The
first Tirthankara, Bhagvan Adinath meditated beneath the Rayan Tree. Also
known as Rayan Rukh, this tree is still present after thousands of years.
The marks of feet of the God can be seen there.
Shri
Sidharat Tirth shrine was installed in Dadabari on Baisakh Sudi Six,
Samvat 2012, (April 1944) as a copy of the original shrine. The replica is
not same as the original in size. Images of God can be seen on Toonk
(small hills). Feet on the valley, nine toonks (small hills), including
Dadaguru Dev’s Toonk, Rayan Rukh, the River Shatrunjay etc, are present
here.
This original shrine is
situated at the banks of Shatrunjay
River
in Gujrat that is why it is known as Shaturunjay Shrine. At this site
about twenty million male and female saints achieved Moksha after
meditation. The word 'Moksha' translated in English means liberation,
complete cessation of the circle of life and death, the end of Karma’s and
their causes, annihilation of passions and desires, all mental, vocal,
physical activities and vibrations. The way to liberation is the right
knowledge, truth and conduct. Thus the soul unites with Lord All Mighty
and rebirth does not take place.
Though
the idol of Bhagvan Shri Adinath is approximately 500 years old, it is
said that when this idol was being install it breathed seven times. Around
15,000 statues can be seen in this place .
In the years of yore,
when there was no means of transport, its replica was constructed for the
convenience of the devotees. Jain religion believes that repeated visits
here by devotees make there heart pure and bring them closer to God. Even
today people visit the place with great reverence.
